William J. Lindh, Jr. | William J. Lindh, Jr. the son of Police Chief anf Mrs. William of 209 Walnut Street in Delanco entered the service during WWII.He graduated Radio School at Scott Field, Illinois graduating May 4 1943 and earned his wings at Laredo Field, Texas. He was sent overseas January 1944 and served as a radioman and gunner. He completed 30 missions over occupied territory and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters.
