Lindh, Jr. the son of Police Chief anf Mrs. William of 209 Walnut Street in Delanco entered the service during WWII.He graduated Radio School at Scott Field, Illinois graduating May 4 1943 and earned his wings at Laredo Field, Texas. He was sent overseas January 1944 and served as a radioman and gunner. He completed 30 missions over occupied territory and received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters.
